The Middle East: Conflict in Journalism Before beginning my essay, â€Å"The Middle East, Conflict in Journalism†, I would like the reader to read a few terms. Conflict has followed human history as far back as it reaches, into the early B.C. age. A conflict can be between multiple people, groups, and nations. When two or more nations have a conflict, it sometimes deteriorates into a war. War has evolved since humanity gave it birth, from the early phases lacking of information to the more advanced phases of complex formations and tactics. For many a millennia conflict and war have gone hand and hand, but entering the second millennia A.D., an evolution entered the scene of conflict and war in the form of Journalism. Journalism today plays a big part in war. It presents the people of a nation with information about the war, casualties from the war, and other important occurrences. Ideally, journalism should be obtained and presented from a non-biased point of view, this meaning all sides of an issue should be covered equally, so that every group has their voice heard. Unfortunately, thanks to prejudice, nothing can ever meet up to the exact ideals of today’s world. Prejudice is an unrelenting force in the world. Looking all around, you can find examples of prejudice even in our own country.
